DS6
DStwins - 18 months
Visited WDW 6/18 - 6/25, first let me say that it was HOT! I consumed more slush's and ice bars in the past week then I have in the past 5 years.
Day 1 - We leave PA at 5:00am Thursday morning, drive all day and arrive in Brunswick, GA around 8:00pm. We could have gone further but with the 18mth twins, we needed the breaks. I found Georgia to be a very nice state. The people were very friendly.
Day 2 - We leave GA and arrive in WDW around 3:00 on Friday. Check in to Pop Century. Since this was our first trip, I have nothing to compare it to, but I thought Pop Century was great. Very nice and clean hotel (more than I can say about the hotel we stayed at on the way home, but we'll talk about that later)
We had 2 connnecting rooms, just perfect for us. We put both tables in one room which left us with enough room for the 2 pack and plays. I faxed PC 4 days before we left and got the requests I asked for (top floor, non-pool facing) I found our room to be very quiet (50's building) facing the lake, but I can imagine the pool facing rooms would be noisy, the pool was busy until 11-midnight every night I was there.
After check in we head to Epcot, we had PS for Garden Grill. Let me just say I was not impressed with Garden Grill. The tables were very small for 5, much better suited to a family of 4. We saw Chip, Pluto and Mickey, but it took an hour. We never did see Dale, because we just couldn't stay there any longer, the twins were done sitting after an hour. I asked if we could see the characters because the little ones were not going to sit forever, but I was told the characters make a certain rotation and we would have to wait. DS6 really enjoyed seeing the characters, but we won't being going back there next time. Walked around Epcot, it was so empty I was expecting to see a tumbleweed blow by. Back to the hotel, after DStwins were asleep, DH or I would hit the pool with DS6.
