 We are planning our first DL resort trip this year from Dec 30 to Jan 2. This is the only time we can go due to work retrictions ( I am a teacher).Does anyone have any tips for going at this time of year?

I think the biggest thing is to go in with realistic expectations.

You know the pictures people sometimes post where it looks like they're the only ones on Main Street, or where there are wide open walkways all around them? You won't be getting any of those. ;)

It will be crowded when you're there, count on it.
Definitely read the thread with fast pass tips so you can take full advantage of them.

My best advice: prioritize what you really want to do, enjoy experiencing those things, and don't sweat it if you don't do/see everything.

Don't go! :rotfl: Just kidding!

It is the busiest time of the year at DL and occassionaly they will stop letting people in becasue the park will hit capacity.

You should definately get in their as early as possible and hit all the big rides.

Just go in knowing it will be packed and you will be fine!

I would go into your trip prioritizing what it is that you want to do. Definitely use the fastpass system!

Also, I have heard that the morning of January 1st is not as busy because a lot of people are sleeping in from the night before, so this might be a good day to hit up some of the attractions with the longer lines!
