This will be my first trip to the Wilderness Resort! I'm not doing any of the theme parks, just hanging out with nature. Can someone tell me the best areas for tent sites? I would like somewhere quiet and preferably not near lots of RVs. Any help is appreciated!

There are two loops dedicated to tent campers and popups. The 1500 loop is closer to the activities and I believe the sites are alittle smaller than the 2000 loop. The 2000 loop is more remote and probably more to your liking. You should not have any TTs or MHs in these loops but you will have popups. However, the 2000 loop is prone to having larger group gatherings in it so I have heard the noise/kid level can be quite high.

Thanks so much! I'm so excited. Everything I have read online gives such great reviews! :cool1: One more question: I am taking my sister to Orlando airport for her honeymoon. I also have friends from England who are flying in to Orlando but they are not "campers" so they will be staying elsewhere. I thought about having a BBQ and inviting them but not sure if guests are allowed. Does anyone know?

Sure you can have guests visit you at your site. You can even have them stay with you - 10 people are allowed per site.

We MH'ers and TT'ers are not bad people. Don't hate us just because we need more comfprt than a tent allows.

Enjoy your stay, and do some looping around the MH and TT sites. You just might meet some nice people.
