First timer...

Hi all... Just started on this board. My DH got me into it. Our trip is in Sept. and he's just been planning like crazy. Guess you can say that I'm lucky.

Well, just wanted to post something. I've been trying to work on my signature, but nothing seems to come out right... not even text. Oh well, I'll keep trying.

Hey I am new also. We leave in August for 12 days but since we are coming from the west coast, WA it will only be 10. But excited still the same!! My two sons are very excited our first time to Disney and there first time on a plane.

I just join DISboard about 5 1/2 months ago and the things that I have learned for planning my trip are invaluable! I also check out other information web sites like www.allearsnet.com and www.mousesavers.com. I purchased Passporter's Guide to WDW, etc. and I think I am about ready for our trip in August (18-27). Thanks, I also get the mousesavers and allears news letters. Since January when I decided to take them, i have been addicted to Disney anything. Esp. this board, i read it faithfully everyday, at least 3 or 4 times a day. But i only have 3 months to go. I see you are going in August also.

Thanks all! And WELCOME too, jordansmomma!!! I've started to check out all the other Disney sites. And my DH has been making me listen to WDW Today podcasts (well, in the beginning I felt I was forced to listen, but I'm enjoying it now).

I just finished reading a TR and now I'm hooked to DIS. Hope I have time to come here as often as I want to.

I'm the same as your husband. I am the uber-planner in the relationship, while my DW just sits back and reaps the benefits. (Just don't tell her I said that!) I figure if I spend more time before hand planning, not only will it get me super excited to go, it'll also make our trip that much smoother.

I'm getting hooked.
I never planned a trip to Disney as we just went for the day.
Now I'm planning for 14 of us to go April, 2007. I started reading the books in February, 2006. I'm just waiting for packages to open up and dates. I can see how planning will make everything go that much more smoothly. I'm getting hooked on watching for discounts; info etc.

Yes, you are just like my DH. But I'm starting to get into the planning. Well, I'm starting to get more excited about the whole trip. But planning... I guess he's still doing everything. The benefits are great!
