Hello suevee

.
It is so sweet of you to take all your grandchildren to Universal. You are making memories with them that they will never forget.
I’am also a grandma. I take my two youngest grandchildren to Universal every May and we have a blast. We have been going for a number of years and they love it and so do I.
RPR is a beautiful hotel with some of the nicest people working there. You are made to feel very welcome from the time you enter. Let the person you make reservations with know you need adjoining rooms to accommodate your family. I don’t think this will be a problem.
Having the Unlimited Express Pass for everyone will make the trip much more enjoyable. You will be going during a busy time.
There are some really nice dining options in CityWalk and that Parks. I would go online at Universal Orlando and look at the dining options. The prices are listed and this will give you an idea of the cost on your meals.
There is a family feast meal at The Three Broomsticks in Hogsmeade that is fantastic and a bargain. Roasted chicken, ribs, potatoes, corn, delicious veggies and salad.
Read the sticky on Royal Pacific Resort so you can enjoy your stay at the fullest.
Also read all the great information on all the things to look for at the two Harry Potter Parks...look at the sticky
“ Wizarding World Touring Plans And Details “ ruthies12 has listed things not to miss. You will be a hit with the grandchildren if you point these extras out to them for sure.
I will point out some fun things my grandchildren and I enjoy. They are 20 and 14 now.
I always encourage my grandchildren to go online at Universal Orlando and find a restaurants they want to eat at on our trip.

Jurassic Park River Adventure is fun to ride as a family, but you will get wet.
There is an interactive
Rapter Encounter that would be a very fun family photo op in Jurassic Park area.

If you do early entry in the morning it is so nice to come back and take advantage of some pool time and then go back to parks again later. You can pool hop between all the Resorts.
I always have the kiddos wait and ride the rides they are going to get wet on to when we are heading back to hotel. That way they are not walking around in wet clothes.
Hope this helps.
From one grandma to another you will have a great time with your grandchildren at Universal
