We are preparing for our first trip with our 2 daughters 2 and 5. What do u think about the Minnie breakfast at the plaza inn? What is the earliest reservation time? Should we use MM entry on a different day? What's the best time of day to go for the character breakfast? Any vets with tips?
Thanks so much

Great choice if DD2 is ok with characters. Do you know that already? If not characters may be tough to be around.

Don't waste a MM on Tue, Thur, Sat or Sunday eating. Use that time for rides when lines are short.

If you don't have a MM credit you don't need one to eat then and the reservations can be made 50 minutes before the regular park opening. On non MM days 20 minutes before park opening.

I think she will be fine. She has said she wants to kiss mickey and Minnie. She will actually be 3 a week after our visit

Gate 1 is reserved for breakfast during MM. You don't need early entry. They will have a reservation list there. They give you a button and tell you to proceed to the restaurant.

We LOVE Minnies! We always reserve the first seating, which is 5 minutes after MM opening. We have the place to ourselves and are one step ahead of the crowds afterward.

This is great! What time is early entry?

Early entry is called Morning Magic or as you referenced it MM. DL opens 1 hour early for MM. and the first dining reservation on these days is 50 minutes before the regular opening as I wrote above.

It's on the days listed above and available to resort guests from check in to check out day, and once per ticket 3 days and longer for regular non resort guests.

Ok thanks. So my best be is use my MM day for ex on Sunday then plan my character dining as early as possible on a regular morning?
And is there an exception to mm? I noticed that this week, for example mm are not available.

Very rarely and last week they were on the normal schedule, your browser may not show them. Sometimes there is a special event that moves or cancels MM, like a running race in the park for example.

Are you staying onsite? If not are you going with at least a day ticket?

I like eating at Minnie's on a MM day, if I don't have access into the MM. This way I enter 50 minutes early, eat and get done about 50 minutes later and go right to the rides. This way I haven't used any of my park time.

If I didn't do that I would try to eat at around 11, when rides are getting busy. Still preserving the early hours for rides.

We went to Minnie's in November and the characters were great! The food was so-so, but fine.

We don't really like to stop for breakfast in the morning. We usually eat some granola bars and bananas on our way into the park, take advantage of the low-crowds and then stop for a meal later in the morning.

So our reservations were at 10:30 and we did Magic Morning starting at 7:00 a.m. I was worried that there would be fewer characters at the end of the breakfast as compared to the middle or earlier. But it was the opposite! Because there were so many empty tables, we had many characters come around more than once and hang out with us because they had no one else to visit with.

Have fun!
