First timer...we're back!

After our first visit to dlrp I have to say we loved it

We arrived Tues 5th and came home fri 8th.

HIGHS

Lunch in cafe mickey...great food, lots of characters...kids loved it

Dreams ...awesome
BBWWS...kids thought the fact that they could bang their plates with their cutlery !!
Fantasy land ...we quickly learnt that evening time (from about 8pm) we could near enough just walk straight onto the rides...we went on the teacups, small world, dumbo at least twice each in a couple of hours.
Buzz lightyear.....went on every evening again on our way out of the parks...a fantastic family ride!!

LOWS

Am going to struggle to find many TBH!!!

Food in BBWWS: not great...but we didnt book it for the food
QUEUES to get into parks through baggage checks.....took a good 20 mins to get through each morning
Slow service in counter service restaurants...took ages!
Buses getting to park in the morning...what a crush..rude people pushing and shoving..not even watching out for kids :+( (we only did it one day and then walked.


Overall...fantastic trip...loved every minute (apart from the queues to get in) and look forward to returning again

Sounds like a fantastic first trip My DH wasn't impressed with food at BBWWS either, but we all loved the show. Counter service could never be described as 'fast food' at DLP

Where did you stay? The buses can be a bit of a scrum unfortunately.

sounds like a really great first trip, we learned very quickly on our first trip not to use the shuttle buses too.

We stayed at the Cheyenne.....lovely hotel...very impressed! We only went on the bus once and then chose to walk!!!
