First Timer to Universal Kinda Different Questions

After multiple WDW trips when boys were young now heading to Universal for first time with now grown (adult) sons 18 & 22. A family trip celebrating #1 son graduating from college. Possibly last opportunity to have just the 4 of us on vacation together. Want to make the most of this trip and will probably come up with lots of questions. Here's a few to start.

1. Staying at RPR in May. I know there is a shuttle to WNW but is it walk-able? Looked at Google satellite doesn't look far but can't tell if there are sidewalks. Yes/No?
2. Also see that a Walgreens across street from WNW, is that the closest place to get some snacks, water, breakfast foods juice etc to have in room? Do they sell beer & wine as well? Walk-able from RPR?
3. Night time at CityWalk, does anyplace allow 18 year old? Looks like a lot of good stuff but don't want to leave #2 son alone

i have used the walgreens that is a short walk from pbh.

if i buy a case of water, i take a cab back to rpr where i stay.
last year the cab cost was $5.

there is also a liquor store in that above shopping area

for city walk some places that have bands and alcohol, have an age 21 and over restriction.
any time prior to 10 pm in most places have a cover charge.
think bob marley's coverage charge time begins at 9.

We drove to the Walgreens for cold medicine. They had a lot of snacks there, including fresh fruit slices, sandwiches, salads, and such. i was really pleased with the selection of things available. The cold medicine was overpriced though. You can walk there on sidewalks from what I could tell. Plenty of people seemed to be walking in that area. Go during the day.

I think most Universal multi-day tickets include city walk cover charges for 14 days from first use.

Looking at the map, I think walking to WnW is possible. But, there doesn't seem to be a direct shot to Universal Blvd on sidewalks from Royal Pacific. Hollywood way doesn't have any sidewalks in that area. To stay on sidewalks it looks like you'll need to head to the parking garage hub and head down to the bus area. From there it's sidewalks all the way.

I personally don't think that it is walkable to Wet and Wild. You have to cross on a very busy road. I would take the shuttle.

For 18 year old at Citywalk there are: Outdoor DJs in Citywalk, Mini golf, Movie theatre, Blue Man Group, Restaurants, and Rising Star which is karaoke bar lets in 18-21 from Sunday to Thursday.

It is totally walkable to W&W and the Walgreen store.

There are plenty of people walk it (not us though ) and there are crossings so no worries about getting across the road.
