first timer to HHN! What night?

This is my first time attending with my adult family. We will be there October 30th and 31st. Which night would be better to attend--attendance wise. Will Halloween be crowded because it is on a Friday?

Historically...Halloween night is less busy because lots of locals our taking their kiddies out trick or treating. Since we are talking about a Friday night this year, crowds should be higher and I'm thinking people will show up after the kids are done.

You know, I'm still debating whether this is going to be the case. With Halloween on a Friday night, it could be just the opposite and many of the 20s and 30s aged locals will be going to private Halloween parties or to the Halloween events at the bars downtown since they won't have to go to work on Saturday morning.
