I know these have probibly been answered a million times I just am too lazy to scroll down

1) if you pay in full with a Chase Disney Visa you get $50 OB Beverage Credits correct? Is that if you use the actual card or just the rewards card? Does that show up automatic or do I need to bring something to check in or do I call and if so what do I need to say?

2) speaking of chase rewards cards how would you go about settling the bill if you want to pay some with that or gift cards? Do you just settle it at guest services and they will take that portion off your given credit card?

3) we are cruising as a Bachelorette trip for my sister is it worth calling to say we are celebrating?

Thanks again for the help its my first Disney cruise and first cruise where I'm responsible for paying the onboard tab

1. the credit will show up automatically- From my experience it has never actually shown that it is for drinks only and we have been able to just use it as an OBC- but Like I cant guarantee that is always the case.

2. I would go down the day before your trip ends to settle up, use the gcs then anything else would just be charged to the card- GS ends up busy towards the end of the cruise!!!

3. Can't hurt!

To my knowledge, you must mention the DCC code to get the $50 Disney Visa OBC offer. It will not be automatic if your reservation is not tagged with the offer code. Either you or your TA can have this added to your reservation. I believe the offer is valid for those who pay the FULL fare (deposit, final payment, any interim payments, as well as any add-ons such as DCL transfers and pre-paid gratuities) must be paid using the Disney Visa and/or a Rewards Redemption card. If any other form of payment is made for any amount, it will void the $50 offer.

If you don't want to risk having your CC charged, set up your onboard account as cash. Then stop by Guest Services with your Rewards Redemption card and/or gift cards. I suggest checking back periodically; a "cash" account means DCL will shut off your spending at a certain amount until you pay it down. With a credit card on file, they will automatically charge the CC when you reach such amount.

It's always worth having a reservation noted as celebrating! Whether anything comes of it more than an "I'm Celebrating" button is variable.

Enjoy your cruise!

It was a "last minute" booked 7/29 for a 9/16 sailing so yes the whole lump sum was paid on the visa. I booked on my own through the DCL site so no TA how would I word things to tell them about the OBC

Call DCL and have them add the "DCC" code to your reservation.
