First timer overload!

Okay, so I am ordering the Universal Orlando 2011 book pronto!!

Our Disneymoon is November 28-Dec 4. 6 days at Disney, we check out on Saturday, and thinking about heading over to IOA, and leaving Sunday.

I'm thinking that Universal is easier than Disney, you don't have to plan as much, right? I was even thinking about cutting the Disney trip short by 1 day, we were just gonna go to Downtown Disney on Friday anyway. So.. is the rule of thumb 1 day at Universal, 1 day at IOA? Will I be disappointed going pregnant? I know there's TONS of stuff to do at WDW when you can't ride the thrill rides, but Universal seems to be alot more thrill ride oriented. I DO want to go to Harry Potter, it's kind of my whole reason for this change in plans.

Where should we stay? Nothing too expensive, but no fleabag hotels... close to the parks... I guess. LOL I feel like I'm starting over here, I have so much to learn!!! HELP!!

Yes, I think you will be disappointed going pregnant.

There is alot of shows at both parks you can do pregnant.There is so much to see just walking the parks,Suess Landing and HP just for a example.

Congratulations! Unfortunetly there's not much to ride over there if you're pregnant. I know this may disappoint you but I don't think you should ride FJ while pregnant. You'll obviously be able to walk around and see the sites and watch the shows but not much else. If you can help it, try to do UO some other time. Good Luck with whatever you decide.

Thanks for all the input you guys!!! We are still on the fence about UO. The main draw for me is Harry Potter, since I am a rabid fan!! Right now we are leaning to keeping our days the same, and taking half od Friday (our last day) to go kick around Harry Potter, have a butterbeer, eat at the Three Broomsticks, and shop

Make sure you go through the FJ queue, it's getting good reviews, even if you choose to not ride.
