We are considering using ME for our trip in 2 weeks. We arrive at 8pm and I am concerned it will take a long time to get to our resort..(SSR)... What has been your experience?

We went to pop last Sept. It took us about an hour from the time we got off the plane until we were at our resort. It will take anywhere from 1 to 2 hours depending on how many people are on the bus and which resort it stops at first. I wouldn't worry about it.

we were at ssr in feb. our flight arrived at 2 pm. we went right to ME and took about 10 min to check in...waited for the ssr for about 15 min....we were dropped off at ssr less than one hour later....so total from airplane to ssr was just a little over an hour..i believe we were sitting poolside by 4....

We used ME last July. It took longer for my husband to get the rental car (in the express lane) and get to Disney than it did for the kids and myself to take ME. He could not believe we beat him there. It's a great system, take advantage of it if you can.
:cheer2:

We used ME to SSR just 2 weeks ago and we landed at 4:35 and were in our room by 5:45 and that includes a bathroom stop at the airport.

I'm assuming that you already have made DME reservations, right? If so, the average time from deplaning to resort check-in has been about 70 minutes. The only time I have made it to the resort from MCO in less than an hour (it was 45 minutes) was when I used a towncar and had only my carry-on stuff with me...otherwise you have to add some time to go to baggage claim.

So....you should be at the resort by 9:30, probably before that. If you are concerned about not having your luggage with you, then get it yourself from the baggage claim area, but do not put the yellow tags on that DME sent to you in your info packet.

We used it last Oct and we were in the resort in about 1 hour and in the concierge lounge grabbing a snack in about 1 1/2 hours from the time we landed : ) Use it I will again in about 3 weeks
