First-Timer Needs Help

I posted this in another forum, but thought I'd try it here, too.

I'm bringing my two sons, who will be 5 and 8 when we leave, to Orlando for our spring break. We live in Houston, so one reason for the trip is to see some Astros spring training games. Obviously, the other reason is Disney. We probably have two, maybe three, days to devote to Disney parks.

What park(s) should we go to? When should we go? What rides are appropriate for a couple of young daredevils who aren't afraid of anything? How do we go about doing everything that we'll want to do efficiently? Anything we should absolutely not miss? What do I not know that would make our trip easier and better?

Both of the boys play lots of ToonTown online. Anything there relating to ToonTown? They'd love that.

Majic Kingdom. MGM, Animal Kingdom.

If you go to the offical Disney website they have mini clips of many of the rides, and you can sit with your boys and check them out.

At MK my boys(7) Love:
Splash, Big thunder mountain, Buzz Lightyear, Stitch Great Escape, Pirates of the Cariabeen, Haunted Mansion, Mickey Philharmagic, Dumbo, Tea cups, The train, Carosel of progress and Wishes. They have not done Space Mountain.

AK they love: Safari, Kilimanjiro falls, Jungle trek, It's tough to be a bug, Dinosaur, they cant wait for Everest.

Mgm: Star tours, Indina Jones, Great Movie ride, Fantasmic, Millionaire. They hated TOT.

Epcot: The liked Norway ride and Nemo . They love seeing different countries-they are facinated with China, Japan, Germany and Spain. They are looking forward to Soarin and Crush. They also love illuminations.

I think what makes a trip great is having a list of the Must do rides...and doing them. We do not do all rides, we are coming back, we like to take our time, have fun, low stress, swim in the pool see the fireworks and stay up all night. If you pick a park or 2 and concentrate on the rides you really must do, you still will probably have some rides you don't want to do. My boys love pin trading too.

If I only had two days I would not choose EPCOT for young children. While I love EPCOT many children do not. Then again that's where Test Track is for the little dare devils. I would choose Magic Kingdom for a whole day. Then either split the day between Animal Kingdom and MGM or let them choose which one they want to spend the day at. You can't go wrong. Have fun.
