First Timer - Many Questions!!

DH and I are taking the 7/19 western Caribbean cruise (with our 15 year old DS). We got some information on the onshore excursions about a week ago, but have seen nothing else from DCL....when can we expect to get our paperwork? Will it help us with what to pack, how much to tip, etc., etc., etc.? We have never been on a cruise and want this one to be extra special since we are also celebrating our 25th anniversary.

Your documents should be arriving within the next week or two. They will have a lot of answers for you, but I found it confusing. If you want to really know what to pack, what to expect, everything...go to Barb's site: www.castawayclub.com and also look at Mickey's Magical Cruise Guide that you will also find there. If you haven't already done so make sure your anniversary is noted in your reservation information. If you booked directly let DCL know, or ask your TA to have that put on your reservation notes. And check when you check in at the port.

Documents generally arrive about 30-45 days out if you didn't book airfare as part of the package. If you did it will be a little closer to departure than that.

You might also think about buying the Passporter book about the Disney Cruise Line. Then you'll have a lot of great information right there at your fingertips.

One of those sites mentioned above has what is basically a guide book you can download and print out for free. I think it's the castaway site.

I don't know that any of that will help you decide what to pack though! You'll probably get better advice on that here!
