Hello fellow DISers!

DH and I will be visiting DLRP for the 1st time in 2 weeks (Oct 9 2011). We have been to Paris before but this time we are making DLRP a top priority. :thumbsup2

My questions to you are -

What are the hours of operation for Disney Village? The Disneyland park closes at 2100 and was hoping to check out the village once the park closes and before we take the RER back to our hotel (we are staying near the Eiffel Tower).

Can you purchase your park tickets in person or must you purchase ahead of time online?

Are advanced reservations required at the restaurants in the park or village?

I'm sure I will have more questions and I thank you in advance for your answers and any tips you can share for a first timer!

Thank you !!!

The Disneyland park closes at 2100 and was hoping to check out the village once the park closes and before we take the RER back to our hotel (we are staying near the Eiffel Tower). You'll have no problem - the restaurants and shops stay open after the park has closed.

Can you purchase your park tickets in person or must you purchase ahead of time online? No, you can buy them at the gate but I'd recommend you get them in advance to save queueing. I think they'll be cheaper online too.

Are advanced reservations required at the restaurants in the park or village? It's not really necessary to make reservations in advance unless you've set your heart on somewhere. If you have then I'd certainly recommend phoning to book (you can do this up to 60 days in advance but a week or two beforehand will be fine) alternatively go to City Hall as soon as you arrive to make a reservation. Walt's does a quick service lunch for under €20 which would enable you to eat at the loveliest restaurant without cutting into your park time but it's not open every day except for the summer season. Not sure what days it's closed now but when we went in May it was open Wednesday through Sunday and closed Monday/Tuesday. You can make reservations for all the park restaurants but in the Village you can only make reservations for Cafe Mickey and The Steakhouse - the others can't be reserved through Disney.

I'm sure I will have more questions and I thank you in advance for your answers and any tips you can share for a first timer!

Hope this helps. :goodvibes

Just to add to what Ware Bears wrote: Walt's will also be closed on Monday/Tuesday this coming week, as I just heard on the reservation hotline. So it's probably going to be the same when you are going the week after.
