Hi- WDW vet- first time visiting CA June 24 for five days. I am staying offsite at Best Wester plus Anaheim with five day hopping tickets.
1) is five days enough to fully experience both parks- I couldn't seem to but longer tickets..
2)my room says it has one day of park extra hours included.. what does that mean and can I pick which park and which day?
3)can I walk to the park or should we taxi? (Includes sister and 13 yr old DD)
4) is dining package for World of Color worth it in your opinion for dedicated spot?

Thanks in advance. I'm nervous!

1) Yes and no. It depends on when you're there, what show schedules are, and what all you want to do. I've spent more than 20 days in the parks in the last two years, and still haven't done all I want to do (I have ridden everything I wanted to, I've just missed out on some shows). However, tickets longer than five days are not possible unless you spring for an annual pass.
2) It's Disneyland only, and only on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday (the days with "T" in them).

I can't speak to your other two questions, but I will say the the WOC dessert party is amazing.

Have a great time!

1. I think so. Granted, you will likely not see and do EVERYTHING in the parks but 5 days is enough to experience the parks.

2. It is not your room that gives you the early entry into Disneyland, it is your 5 day park hopper ticket. As the PP posted, early entry is for Disneyland on T, Th, Sat. Early entry into DCA is limited to guests of one of the three DLR hotels.

3. If it is the one that is at 1630 S. Harbor Blvd, then yes you can absolutely walk to the parks.

4. We've done the WOC dining 3 times and have enjoyed it every time. However, on our last trip in September we did the WOC dessert party and in our (me, DH, DS) opinion the dessert party was a more enjoyable experience. We had a light late afternoon meal at the Alfresco Tasting Terrace and that was enough to see us through until the Dessert Party.

Thanks for all the info- just what I wasn't looking for. So on the days that include a "t" is in much more crowded (is it worth it to go to that one park that day).

Since hopping is so easy at DLR, the early entry park isn't that much more crowded after the first couple of hours. I wouldn't let that color your decision, except to say that, if you don't have early entry, it's better to start at the park that doesn't so that you're on an even playing field with everyone else.

good call about starting at a different park if not utilizing the early entry! Hopefully they won't have EMH morning hours at the Adventure park on those days.

Unless it's super busy season, EMH at DCA is the days that it isn't at DL. So Sunday, M, W, and F. It's very unusual for them to have EMH at both parks.
