First timer - Checking In Tomorrow

Hi All! I'm Valerie...My family is going on our first ever cruise on the Fantasy 7/23-7/30. Tomorrow is our check-in. Question about port adventures...When I schedule those, do I get charged right away? Was wondering in case we decide to cancel and do something else. TIA

You don't get charged for them now. They will be charged to your shipboard account during your cruise. I believe you can cancel up to 3 days before your cruise without issue unless otherwise noted (someone correct me if that's the wrong number of days).

As noted, the charges for excursions (as well as spa, nursery services) are added to your onboard account. Most often early in the cruise. Occasionally we've had the excursions charged to our account on the day of the actual excursion.

As long as you cancel by 3 days prior to the start of the cruise, you won't have any charges for them. If you cancel within that 3 day period, or once onboard, you will still be charged for the excursion. Sometimes, if there's a wait list, and DCL can "resell" your spot, you may not be charged.
