Hi

I am going to DW for the first time in November and staying in CBR. Can anyone help with a couple of questions

Which is the best village to stay in I am not driving? There is just me and my partner...

Is there transport in to IDRIVE from the resort?

Where do I start we are there for 7 days and cannt decide I arrive late on a Thursday night so 1st day is a Friday

Also will the Christmas decs be out to buy?

Sorry to ask so much - just wanna try to be more organised than normal with only being in DW for 7 days

Cheers

If you are not renting a car from the airport, than you can take a cab from the Airport or a Limo. Lots of people on this board use Fl. Tours and Happy Limo. If you don't want to spend that much, you can use Mears. You will have no problem getting to your hotel from the Airport.;) Do you have passes yet? If not, you can purchase them when you get there or order thru the Disney Website!:) Yes, there are Christmas Decorations you can buy, but the Hotels start putting thiers UP after Thanksgiving, I have heard.;) You can start by using this board, and asking questions, no matter how silly they are! By the way, WHEN will you be there?:wave2:

If you willn't have a car, I would suggest you request a room close to the food court if you plan to use the food court. Some rooms are quite a distance from the food court.

I suggest you check out the CBR FAQ thread. The link is listed below. It has trip reviews and suggestions for CBR. It contains lots of good information.

I am due there on the 13th November so I am hoping it will be quiet before the holidays.

Just really mad trying to organise things - I should really learn to drive then I wont worry as much

I couldnt decide where to stay so all the names went in to a hat and this one came out.

I really want to go to SeaWorld and Universal when I am there so I have five days in the parks, a day relaxing and two days at the other two parks but unsure how easy it is to get shuttle's or public transport to these.

I have used Cartier for the transfer from the airport anyone else used these in the past?

Cheers

First, there is an internal shuttle that will take you around the resort if you find it is too long a walk to get to the food court. We really enjoyed Aruba this past July. You can get that shuttle at the bus stop.

Mears shuttle will take you to Sea World and also to Universal Studios. If you are flying you can book a roundtrip passage from the airport to the hotel ($28.00 a person) and roundtrip to Seaworld was $14.00 per person. Don't know how much for Universal Studios. If you don't reserve ahead of time you can wait outside the food court front entrance that is where you can catch a shuttle van to the attractions. You don't need a reservation; and we had others join us. It helps to do it ahead of time, though. I can't remember but I think pick up was every hour on the hour and return every half hour on the hour. May have that backwards.

Hope this helps.
Have a Great Time!
