We will be heading to WDW in Oct and we are looking forward to trying out the Halloween party for the first time.

I am a little nervous about a plan of action. Does anyone know if you will still be allowed to enter MK at 4pm on the night of the party?

Does any one have some good tips for touring the park in between parade and such?

We will be visiting Oct 10-13. I know party dates are not out yet...right? o_O Can anyone shed some insight on what night a party might be held on those dates?

There is no reason to expect this long-standing practice will change.

Party dates have not been announced, but expect it to be offered on most Sundays, Tuesdays, and Fridays and on some Thursdays.

Don't be nervous - I regret how stressy I was about MNSSHP when we did it last year. I was very concerned about hitting all the points I wanted and getting my money's worth for the tickets. Once we saw the parade I started to relax. We watched the first parade to make sure we got it out of the way. Despite reports of the party being oversold and crowded we watched the fireworks (my favorite Disney fireworks I've ever seen, btw) from the FP+ viewing area and had plenty of room. It was rainy on our party night, so they were doing abbreviated versions of the stage show. Heading back towards the hub from Fantasyland while the second parade was going, we lucked out and were able to get front row spots for the last performance of the stage show. We lucked out -again- and it was dry enough for them to do the entire performance, which was awesome. I really enjoyed our party experience, and like I said I regret that I was so stressed out during the start of it.

1 you will not get to do see every thing so make a list of your must dos and ever one is different there are somethings like the villeins that are out only for the party so I would try and do things that you can only do at the party.

watch the parade and get there early you do not want to miss the first thing ( I think it is the best thing of the whole party and worth the ticket all in it self )

the second parade is less crowded

the rides for the most part ( but a few ) are walk on or almost but why do something like that when you paid for the other special things

there will be maps posted a day or two after ( or just before) the first party good thing to look at to see what you want to do.

I think they should open at 4 but no one know until disney says something.
