We are getting the Disney Dining Plan for convenience, we are not worried about cost effectiveness. We will have 4 adults and 2 kids ages 4 and 2.

Need help with my reservations and other suggestions, it is my children's first visit, so the character meals are important, but we also want a good mix of those with adult meals, to please everyone!! The three character meals I have picked are what I think would be the best for my little ones.

Arrival Day - Dinner @ Chef Mickey(1)
Day 2 - Lunch/Dinner @Hollywood Brown Derby, I know this counts as two, My mom has to have the Cobb Salad :) Should we use as TS, or Pay out of Pocket
Day 3 - Dinner @ Askerhaus for Princess Character Meal(2)
Day 4 - Breakfast at Crystal Palace CM(3) - hoping to get reservation before park opens, Need Dinner Suggestions
Day 5 - Will be at MK, need dinner suggestions
Day 6 - Going to Universal
Day 7 - Leaving

Thanks for your help and suggestions.

Looks like you are staying 6 nights and you have 6 TS credits accounted for, so you won't be leaving any behind. If you pay for Brown Derby you will have two more TS credits that you'd need to use, unless you are OK with leaving them unused.

If you add another TS meal on Day 4 then you will be over your credit count. You'd have to pay for one meal out of pocket. If you pay for Brown Derby and use another credit on Day 4 then you will have 1 more TS credit to use.

Day 5, take the monorail from MK to Poly and do O'Hana. It's family style, they have kids options if they don't like the food, and there was an entertainer who did some activities with the kids.
