I will be borrowing a friend’s scooter for my upcoming trip. How many miles do you typically do a day in the parks? Need to figure out if the scooter range will meet our need for a leisurely paced 6 hours/day without need to recharge midway. Thanks in advance

*Generally speaking* most scooters - if fully charged the night before - can go all day at WDW with no problem. That is based on a fairly late model scooter that has had good battery maintenance, and has not been left in ”unconditioned“ space (meaning a hot storage area in the summer or a cold storage area in the winter) for long periods which can affect battery longevity and life.

The *average* Disney World Guest walks between 3 and 10 miles *per day* at WDW.

The first day, keep a good eye on the battery gauge & Take the charger with you

If possible take the loaner scooter for a trial run at home. You can go to a park, zoo, museum to try it out.

Newer scooters tend to have longer battery power. Larger scooters have two batteries to last longer. Your own weight factors into the battery power, too. Being careful to shut off the scooter while watching a show or fireworks gives you a battery that lasts longer. If you use Disney transportation make sure you shut the scooter off while going back and forth from the parks.

Make sure to take the battery charger when getting the loaner scooter. Carry the battery charger with you at the parks in case you need an emergency charge. Make sure you recharge the scooter every night. Pay attention to the battery guage.

I would just add to check with a CM before plugging in anywhere in the Parks or at Disney Springs; you don't want to plug into an outlet that could potentially damage the charging or electrical system of the device.
