What are the "must read" threads on here to make the most of our trip? We are going for our daughter's 14th birthday. Any ideas/tips on the Universal theme parks & our hotel choice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

here is another question from a soon to be first time visitor.. Do you have to pay to park at US?

Take your time and read through the sticky threads above and on the resorts board as well. I would give the MIB notes to your daughter so she can score really well!

Yes you do. I believe it is $11 or $12.

suggest like damo said, read the stickies.

also check out the universalorlando.com website completely.
use the interactive map for the rides, shows and attractions.

check out the rph threads.

check out the loews first primer.

skip thru the present threads on the forums and see if any catch your eye.
go back the pages it has, many great stuff on the older threads.

go and have fun on your uo vacay!

i like the meal deal.

i love the pizza at a couple of the places and the itff place.

i just get another slice of pizza after i get the first one.

the sipper cup is not my thing.

i bring back my reusable universal mug and pay the discounted price with the ap/aaa for refills.

I got the RPH at Expedia. It seems that most of the Loews perks are only good if you book directly thru them.

Also, I just purchased the 2 park/Unlimited for 79.99. Great deal!

Yes...that's the best deal they've had in a LONG time!

At most, we will only use these tickets for 3 days. Can other people use them or are they distinctly tied to the purchaser?

Once you use the tix then they do the finger print scan and then only you can use the tix and noone else

even if you only use the tickets for 3 days out of the set, you are still ahead of the game financially.

2 parks each for 3 days........couldn't buy tickets to cover that cheaper than the promo that is going on.

tickets are non transferable.
