Hi all

We are going on our first trip to DLP on 16th December, we being myself and 4 kids. My kids are 13, 12, 6 and 5, what would you say are "must do and see's?" :confused3

I have been lurking around the forum and reading all your posts and I know that you all have a wealth of information to share :cool2:

Thanks in advance.

Hi sahara007 . Elaine, Jackie, Elaine and Reid welcome to DLP DIS board :wave2:

We are a friendly bunch here so please join in on any other thread or if you have a number of questions then just start a new thread for each :goodvibes

If you have not had a look yet, DLP posting rules are here, DIS posting guidelines can be found here.

with the age range of your party I think some will possibly be thrill seekers so the mountains will be on your to do list :)
Whereas the younger members will love Fantasyland and the characters :)

Thanks for the lovely welcome. I thik you are right, the older 2 boys will love the thrills so have added the mountain on my to do list.

If anyone has anymore suggestions please let me know!

Thanks.

A big 'must do' is to get up and into the park for EMH. You'll find that you get more rides done in these two hours than during the rest of the day!!

I'd say the other 'must do's' would be to take in all the Christmas decorations and shows too.

My own individual 'must so's' for a trip are Pirates, Phantom Mannor, Small World, Buzz, RnR, and ToT.

Thanks for your reply cap'njack

Sorry I have taken so long to respond but I have been without internet for a couple of weeks :(

do not miss EMH you can get a lot done at this time as the park is still not busy.
i think a character meal would be enjoyed by all. personally, i went to cafe mickey and i really enjoyed it there that we went for a second time on our trip. the food is really good, staff are very nice and character interaction is great. when we were there the characters were dancing as well as d staff.
