First time to DL - been to WDW 5 times

Early this June I'm going on a trip to Disneyland. It'll be my first time there, but I've been to Disney World five times. Is there anything radically different I should expect? Anything special I should plan to do? I'll be traveling with a sixteen year old, an autistic twelve year old, and their parents, if that should matter.

DLR is fantastic! Park hopping is sooooo much easier, we do it several times a day. And having DTD right there is huge. Have a great time!
