First time solo, suggestions?

I have been solo before and then again 10/3- 10/10.. but the F&W can take up a lot of time.. Or maybe that is just me.. but I found that I could spend afternoons there... and MNSSHP is the most fun.. I love that better than the Xmas party.

What I like about solo is that you do what you want , when you want.. so plan away// but then let the moment take you and enjoy it..

BTW I do look forward to those killer marqaritas by Mexico in Epcot, ice cream at beaches and cream, dole whip at MK..

I have visited on two occassions solo, and its definitely different but its good to have no limitations. Here are a few suggestions:

(1) Rent the mickey sprites (water sprites) from one of the resorts on seven seas lagoon. Although, Your not suppose to take pictures while doing this and its in the agreement somewhere, I was able to take some great pictures of contemporary, grand floridian, polynesian and wilderness lodge areas from the water.

(2) Not sure if your into the tours, but "The Keys to the Kingdom" tour was really good at the Magic Kingdom. I believe they do either half day or full day tours, so that gives some flexibility to not take up the entire day, plus you can learn some history about the parks and see some behind the scenes stuff.

(3) A really cheap one is resort hopping, and filling up that camera with as many resort photos as you can

(4) Any friends on disboards, cast members or locals in FL you can meet up with. I was able to meet with some cast member friends and local friends.

(5) Singles line, singles line, singles line...Did I say that enough? Make sure you take complete advantage of rides that have single rider lines (i.e. Test Track and Expedition Everest). I was lucky to be like between number 5 and 10 in line, and you can get through some rides pretty quickly, or ride again.

(6) As previously stated, Venturing around world showcase and taking in some beer/wine/food tasting is always great.

(7) In the need for some speed? How about going over to the Richard Petty Driving Experience (Nascar type car) or Indy Driving Experience (Formula 1) to take some laps around a track in the early morning.

OP-

I have taken two trips solo, and the "go-with-flow" advice is really the best. I also keep an eye out for families who need someone to take a picture, little kids who are bored waiting in line and need someone to make faces at, etc. I've met some very fun people that way.

OT:

If I book another trip in September, would you bring some Um Ali? Please?:worship:
