First time posting with questions....

Hi all;

I'm new in this board, I been reading for at least a month. Let me tell you this board is great for inf. and had helped me a lot.

Let me tell you something about ourself so you know us a bit.

We moved to Puerto Rico three years ago after living in US for 25 years. Why? Family. We have a ds4 and ds18. And yes we miss living in US but we also like living in PR.

So, now here are my questions that I know you can answer for me.

1. How you book your trip to WDW thru an agency or directly to WTD, I have a quote from DU and I compared the prices with the Disney web, the quote from the DU is better.

2. We are thinking to stay at CBR, Which room location do you had in the past that you really like and why? I would like a room near a bus stop and food court. It this possible?

This is our first big vacation in three year and I wanted to be a good experices for us , even do we been in WDW in the past this is our first time staying in a WDW resorts.

Welcome to the DIS boards. It's nice to see you posting!! I have used DU several times..in fact, using them for my Sept trip. I'm pretty conversant in all things Disney, but sometimes just don't want to take the time to keep checking for those great discount rates. And DU will do that for me. I have used WDW directly but prefer to use DU. I haven't had a bad experience with them yet..only good ones.
As far as which room at CBR, I can't help you much since I've never stayed there, but I'm sure someone will have an answer for you!

I second DU.

CBR is a very big resort. We were at Aruba and it was nice, and not a long trip to the food court. Buses stop at every island. It helps to have a car here, but our daughter stayed here in January (we were at SoG) and she got around very easily. Of course she was there for the marathon so she ran everywhere. Have a great trip.

Welcome to the boards... As the pp stated, DU will look for discounts for you where if you were to call or book thru Disney you would have to know what discounts are out there for you to use...

As for the CBR... When are you looking into going? I am asking you this because the main pool is under refurb until Sept; so if you are looking on going before then that might change your mind in staying there.

OHH, I did not know about the refurb. We are planning to go on Sep 9th thru 20th. Do you think it will be done by then?

We never use a travel agent. We always book on line and book our airfare seperatly ourselfs.

We have stayed at CBR twice, both times we were in Trinidad North. It has a nice quiet pool. We enjoyed this section and it was a nice peaceful walk to the main pool r/food court area This is a great resort. One of our favorites
