First time post!!

Hi, this is my first post ever, so hope it makes sense. Just booked my 1st DCL cruise and am so excited. Going with my DM who is 64 and DS who is 8. We plan on going the day before and staying at the Radisson. Are there porters to get your luggage to the shuttle in the morning or do we do it ourselves? Also, how far in advance should we reserve the shuttle? Thanks for your help!

as far as i know , u can only request to be put on the shuttle list at time of check in or later... not sur about the porters

We are staying at the Radisson on March 5th. I just called the hotel last night (I called the direct line, not the 800 number)and got our names on the shuttle list. They run every 30 minutes starting at 10:30 a.m. I had heard both ways: that you could sign up early and that you couldn't, so I just called them! We are on the 10:30 shuttle!!!

Try to get on the shuttle list ASAP. They tend to fill up and get VERY crowded.

We called before our arrival and got scheduled for the first shuttle from the Radisson a few days before our cruise last August. I was told by another DIS'er, just before our cruise, that the Radisson was just starting to take early shuttle ressies.

Try this site for a coupon for 79.00 for the Radisson (check that it includes your dates before it expires) www.roomsavers.com .You can call ahead and request to be put onto the list for the shuttle. You need to bring your luggage to the area outside the front door about 15 minutes before your scheduled time to go. IMPORTANT *** Make sure that once your name is called that you bring your luggage to the rear of the shuttle and make sure it gets put on before you get on. We saw 2 groups on our bus who thought that someone was going to do that for them and their luggage did not get on the shuttle.***Also check out www.allseastravel.com to compare your cruise prices. You always can change to another travel agency if you find a much better price. Better now then later when everyones prices go up.

Hi, and welcome from another Louisiana native

Wanted to mention that we, too, are staying at the Radisson - no reviews yet, but all sources indicate we won't be disappointed.

Two things:

1) the coupon mentioned for $79 sounds great but only works on "walk-in" registrations - just tried to apply it to our reservation and no luck - they do book up so I don't know that I'd risk getting there and not have a reservation.

2) definitely call and get booked on the earliest shuttle...you do need to call the hotel directly, (321)784-0000, reference your reservation and get on the list. I just double-checked mine for 10:30 and she said I'm on there and it's full. When I first booked, I was told to call 30 days prior to my reservation so mark your calendar.
