So in all of my families many trips to the World we just kind of took things day by day -- not really planning at all and letting our whim carry us -- cause who really wants to plan their meals 6 months in advance :confused3

but this year, with FP+ and a non QS Dining plan in our pocket -- we have to plan -- and that means parks and restauants -- so looking for aive to see if I got this managed in a good way ---

So the players are Me, my Wife, and my 3 kids --16, 14 and 8.
The 8 year old is our foster daughter -- and this will be her first trip. the other two kids are vets -- and draw maps of the world from memory ;)

Day 1 -- arrival -- Check in at AOA at 3:00 head over to Wilderness Lodge at 4:30 just to see the resort == we have never seen it before -- and then head over to Contemporary for a 7:20 dinner at Chef Mickeys.

Day 2 -- Magic Kingdom day -- Lunch at Golden Palace -- havn't gotten FPs yet as window isn't open -- Dinner will be QS -- based on what the kids feel like.

Day 3 == Typhoon Lagoon -- I have 6:30 dinner reservations for Kouzzina at the boardwalk -- and this kind of has me concerned -- can we spend the day at TL, get back to our rooms, change and get to the Boardwalk in 2 hours???

Day 4 Hollywood studios -- We have the Fantasmic Dinner package for Hollywood and Vine

Day 5 -- Blizzard Beach -- with dinner at Whispering Canyon

Day 6 -- Animal Kingdom -- with Chaaracter Lunch at Tusker House <-- although I am kind of leaning towards YAK and yeti ----
Day 7 -- Epcot -- Lunch at Teppen Edo

are we going to leave the world weighing 500 extra LBS? Will our 8 year old get a good over all dining experience here?

thanks all!

I think an 8 year old little girl needs a princess meal ;)
Overall though as far as I know it seems like a good plan. We did not do any of the water parks so not sure how much time will be necessary to get ready for dinner after one or how far they are from the resorts. Every family enjoys different things so what is right for one may not be so for another. We really enjoyed a sit down meal each day and I didn't put on too much extra weight at Disney ;)

You are right about the princess meal -- booked breakfast at Askerhaus for our Epcot day so she gets that experience - (and my 16 year old son just smiled and gave me the thumbs up when I mentioned it as well :rotfl2:

She will love it! :) My girls really enjoyed Akershus, in fact when I ask them which meals they would like to repeat on future trips that is the meal they say they would.
