First time on site

We've been to WDW many times before but have never stayed on site. We just became members of DVC and as we had all of this years points as part of the deal, we decided to use some of them for a stay at the GF.

Every time we would go to the MK, we would look over at the GF and say "one day, we'll stay there!!" and next month we will be!!

I'm a mature adult, so why am I so excited??

How are the on-site hotels at Disneyland Paris? Just curious, I've seen photos and they look really neat.

I've stayed at 3 of them;

New York is OK, but it's not worth the money they charge

Sequoia Lodge is a little better, and the theming is much nicer

Newport Bay was the best of the three, but I went there quite a long time ago

Haven't tried the Disneyland Hotel, it's way too expensive

That really is the problem with the resort in Paris, the price! We took a 3 day trip there a couple of years ago and it cost around the same price as a week in Orlando!! And that includes the flights from the UK to the US.

Add to that the lack of customer service at the Paris resort and it's not that appealing to us anymore.

I have expectations that the WDW hotels will be in a different class altogether, and of course, the customer service should be much better

If anyone else has a comparison between the two I'd love to hear it
