So we have been to Disney 8 times so we have basics down pretty good. This being our first trip on-site I am trying to get mind around EMH.

Little background....myself and DS 11 staying at Pop. We have a car so that plus buses travel is not much of an issue. Eating will not be issue we are going out of pocket and not many tables. We will be there June 8 to June 14. To save money we did not get hoppers.

We are more Rope Drop than having to be in the parks at close. But we do like to shut down MK. I am mainly thinking about AM EMH.

I think MK is a sure thing on a Thursday we are there. We can hit Tomorrowland and work way over towards Small World and HM. That way when Frontierland and Adventrueland open we get there while lighter and have a great morning. Then save FP+ for evening time.

At EPCOT we will do World Showcase on a late arrival day to mainly do the Perry games. We mainly ride TT, Soarin, Spaceship Earth, Land.

At AK we like couple of shows, Safari, Dino, and want to try out Everest.

At DHS we like Toy story, Star Tours, couple of shows and maybe I can get son on Tower of Terror.

So my question is should I bother with EMH on any of the other three to try and maximize rides or is just better to avoid them as they just get to crowded on EMH days? When we stay off-site we always stayed away from EMH parks.

Thanks for your opinions on this.

We used to do EMH everyday they were offered. Then we started following Josh's suggested parks on easywdw, and have had great success with it. We get so much done on a morning at his "most recommended" park, and it's the only way we plan now! :goodvibes

The only EMH we do is MK at night. The last few times we went, MK was opened until 1 or 2am. It was great. We would do Space Mountain and Buzz Lightyear over and over again. With our kids ages to teenagers - we don't make rope drop that often. We like it better at night. Or we get there early and leave during the day and come back at night.

Enjoy!

EMH is most beneficial at MK and DHS. It's nice to be able to do Soarin' or Test Track at Epcot, but the World side is pretty much closed after Illuminations. We've done a ton of rides late at night at MK and DHS during EMH.

Have a great trip!
