Got a PIN for free QSDP and upgraded to DDP for our November trip 11/9-11/14. 5 night 6 days at CBR 2 adults and 6 y/o son. This is my first time on the DDP and only my 4th time overall. Am i getting the most out of the plan? Any suggestions?

Wednesday dinner:
Tutto Italia Ristorante

Thursday lunch:
Mama Melrose's Ristorante Fantasmic package

Friday Dinner:
Le Cellier Steakhouse - will be OOP not worth 2 ts but really liked it last time

Saturday dinner:
The Crystal Palace

Sunday breakfast:
Chef Mickey's

Sunday Dinner:
Coral Reef Restaurant

I agree with paying OOP for Le Cellier, not worth using up 2 TS. I would, however, suggest "pricing out" the cost of Chef Mickey's breakfast vs Le Cellier. Might it be cheaper (and I don't know just suggesting you look) to pay OOP for the breakfast & have 2 TS to spend at Le Cellier? It could be possible depending on what you order at LC. As for the rest, you'll hear good and bad about all your choices (we don't like Coral Reef) but they are YOUR choices and if you're happy with the offerings there, go for it! Enjoy your trip!

Just looked on allearsnet.com & CM prices are listed as $26.62 for adults & 13.99 for kids so that's $68ish for that meal assuming those prices are correct. If you'd spend more than that at LC, pay for CM OOP & use the credits at LC? Make sense?

The problem with the above is that LC requires 2 credits for dinner. So you'd have to pay OOP at CM plus another (MM would be my guess, or maybe CR since you can skip dessert or something). The combination of those two would likely be higher than the meal at LC though, so it'd make more sense to pay OOP for the 1.

So, taking your numbers above of ~$68 and adding:
MM F!: ($33 a/$12 c) and we get 66 + 12 or $78 + $68 = $146
CR (no dessert): say $25 a/$9 c = $59 + $68 = $127 (adding desserts would add about another $16 to the bill or $143)

So, if you're potential LC meal is less than $143, you're better off doing what you're doing.

Getting the absolute "most", probably not :p. But unless you do funky things like order kids' meals for the adults or skip all desserts and drinks, you're going to come out ahead.

didn't notice they were already 1 TS meal over! Then, no, my scenario doesn't work. Thanks for catching that Cafeen, you're always right :thumbsup2:worship:
