I am doing a budget solo trip the beginning of April. I'm so excited to do this, but I'm trying to keep it as budget friendly as possible. I think I have Quality Inn & Suites by the Parks picked out as my place to stay. It appears to be recently updated. I absolutely, truly don't care about "luxury" accommodations. I need clean and bedbug free and that's about it. For me it's just a place to stay. I have stayed at many Disney resorts (all categories) but this is a budget trip and I can't really see any true benefit to staying onsite. No EMH, no early booking of FP... I fine using uber for transportation and know there is a cost associated with that.

Any thoughts on this? Am I missing anything? Thanks.

I was going to suggest renting a car but realized the parking fees are outrageous (we usually visit with Annual Passes). We love staying both onsite and off, and it sounds like you have a good plan and are managing expectations. :smickey:

Stop by Public and get drinks, sandwiches and snacks for the room. Its nice coming back to relax if you have a few comforts waiting for you. 🍺🥪

Enjoy! Steve 8-)

Some of the choice hotels have a free shuttle. We have always liked choice hotels and book through the website because they will meet any price you find. On our last trip I found it cheaper on priceline and they met it and gave me a $50 giftcard.
I would order walmart grocery delivery and get some food and drinks to take in the park. Of everything I did that was the biggest money saver.
