First time in the world oct. 2014

I need coffee, a pot of it, a spreadsheet, and maybe some tylenol :rotfl:

I still see a problem on the MNSSHP day and the day after it How old are the girls again ? and without the things listed in my first sentence I'm not looking any further ;)

they will be almost five and nine, but I can pretty much guarantee that we will not be at the party until midnight or 1am. we will probably be done by 11 cause they just won't make it that late. so a 9am breakfast would probably be okay

suggestion...MNSSHP if you think of it as another "park" that opens at 4pm and ends at midnight

MK becomes something you will never see unless at MNSSHP There are things there to see and experience on no other day With the Christmas party for example you can see the Christmas parade on TV or experience it in MK after all the parties are thrown

This is what I suggest , now remembering that MK at night for MNSSHP is a totally different park and with all of you the cost is approximately $400. Nothing to sneeze at The girls will be excited and you'd be surprised how many children are running around in front of the castle at 1 am wide eyed bushy tailed pumped up on sugar no doubt but happy not cranky Given that I would use MNSSHP day as a down day at the resort Hang out at pool, eat at resort etc nap if needed

A 9 & 5 y/o are perfect ages, they can do 8 hrs in the park easy I don't think you will have a problem...you just need to adjust so that the 8 hours are at night NOT added on the back end of a visit to a park during the day KWIM ?

we might be able to switch tues and thurs and then the resort day would be the day after the party.....it will just depend on when everything is scheduled:) we can't finalize anything until the park schedules come out ;)

when we say pirate day that is a very light MK day we are only going to do pirate stuff that day and ony a couple like Pirates of caribean and jungle cruise. And pirate treasure hunt game. that's it So we don't get there early and won't be there all day.

like I said you two need to make your decisions its your vacation not mine :)

Well we love the advice, even if we decide not to follow it......lol <stubborn person But the imput does hep I did move the ADR around :) Oh and we have changed to :) Coronado Springs Business Class, first floor, connecting or adjacent.

Sweetpeaandevie: Got the hotel confirmation last night and sent you a copy to check it over. I didn't find any more problems with this one so let me know if I missed anything. Greg will be happy to get free beer.....:rotfl: It's the little things that make it work.:cool1:

I cannot agree with this more. Your party day should be your down day. sleep in. Go do whatever. take a nap then go to the party. do NOT want a crabby 5yo. when all this magic is happening around you!!!
Granted i haven't done MNSSHP but we did do the Christmas party. I cannot say enough about it. amazing.
next year we will be doing the Halloween party. once the dates are out i will be planning around that as the down day. sleep in. Swim. NAP ADR for dinner in MK. then party like it's 1999! :cool1: it worked so well the last time the kids stayed up the entire night. the bus on the way 'home' they all crashed out.

best advice. give yourself some relax time otherwise your really going to miss a lot. if your go go go go. your not stopping and smelling the roses (you know how that goes) There are so many little details your going to miss if you don't slow down and relax. Like hidden mickey's! fun way to keep the kids looking at everything all the details Disney did to make up the world.
just my opinion. Since it's your first visit we don't want you to miss out on anything.

Ok how's this
Thur. Pirate day B-at resort, go swimming, rest, take a nap Head to around 1pm for 2pm ADR at LTT, and 3pm Pirate League catch Pirates of Carabean and pirate search game and head to MNSSHP ? Don't see the girls going past 11 ,but we will have a stroller so maybe they can make it. :goodvibes just can't see spending another day with no park time. we already are only doing 7 days out of 10-11
Other option is to do MK on sat soon as Raina and Greg get there and leave early enough for ponys and HDDMR. but Greg will drive over night so I don't think he will be up to that.
edit: the idea of pirate day is because the adults are all going to MNSSHP as pirates. so we can't do pirates on a different day from the party...I still like our first option better but that is MO and I know I have not been there.

:thumbsup2 YAAAAAYYYYYY! :woohoo:

I know we may be 14 months away, but it feels good to be official. Even though I know the possibility is still there for a switch, I really feel like we have found THE ONE!!!

So, Oct 10th-20th, 2014 the Simmons-Thrower first family trip to WDW EVER will happen at CSR in business class (great building with a lounge :drinking). I am so excited!!! (can you tell?)

I like the MNSSHP day. Kids might make it with the candy they will be eating. :lmao:

I spent the day redoing our trip book so it's ready when raina comes next month. Sence we changed resorts and almost every ADR I had to basicly start over but it's done yea pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:

ok well I didn't like the way my pages came out for the girls so I redid them.I think they look much more ........well polished now.

well you get the idea. one for each morning to motivate my little darlins :rolleyes1

I made trip books with all our info including our confirmations.
The big one is for Raina it has all the extra info in it. (what to do on rainy days, where to charge your cell phone in the park) stuff like that.

and this smaller one will go in my suitcase.

an a pic of the inside, pages for each day, and some pics

That is all WAY TOO CUTE!!!
Have you seen Kenny the Pirate's web site? he gives the times for all characters? Maybe that can help as well?!?

It must be killing you the trip isn't until October?! :thumbsup2

you DO have your pre trip of the trip work out to do! :lmao:
