I am going to be going to DLP for the first time in September with my husband.

I will be in Paris from the 20th - 27th. (celebrating my birthday on the 24th,)

I have a few general questions to ask of those who are in the know:
What are the crowds like around that time?

Where is the best place to buy tickets and what is the usual price?

Best day to go during the week? (would love to go on my birthday but i know that weekends are usually busier).

we will only go to the one park the park like Magic kingdom.

thanks for any help you give.

The crowds in September are very low.. we went last September and they were no queues.

The week is best to go as the park gets VERY busy at the weekend even though when we went the studios was very quiet on the Sunday we went.

Another thing french children have wedsndays of school (my cousin lived in France for a while) however I don't know if this has any effect on crowds.

You can buy tickets off the Internet, in Disney Stores and at the entrance to Disneyland Park (equivalent to Magic Kingdom). I have heard someone mention that the Internet may be the cheapest place to buy them? Just have a look around but I would recomend you buy them before you leave, otherwise you may have to wait in a very long queue when you get there!!

Top tips in my experience:

1) ALWAYS get fastpasses - tickets which allow you to skip queues on the busiest rides. It allows you to literally make it through the day without queuing!
2) go for lunch early or late - if you want a really nice lunch as opposed to burgers and fries, go to Disney Village or any of the hotels where the 'posher' restaurants are, or Blue Lagoon next to Pirates of the Carribean. I would recommend Rainforest Cafe or Cafe Mickey which are opposite each other at the top of Disney Village
3) Don't miss the dragon under the castle. Lots of people do and its a real shame cus its a great thing to see, and is unique to all the disney parks!

Anyway, I hope some of this helps!

Do they have a show like wishes over the castle with fireworks/illuminations?

How do they end the day in the park what kind of show do they have?

Wishes ends the last weekend august, it is just on in high season. At the end of the day there is mickey saying goodbye to everyone.

Thanks for the reply to that.

At least i know now so i wont be dissapointed. Although it seems kind of strange to go to Disney and not see wishes.

On our last trip to WDW we saw wishes 4 times. I loved it never tired of seeing it.

How does Mickey say goodbye, is there music/lights?

Does he wave from near/in the castle?

sorry so many questions but I have still a lot to learn about Euro disney.

He stands at Main St rail station and waves as you leave the park :)

We went almost the same dates last year and had fab weather and very little queues except on the saturday. I'd recommend going to parks on a weekday and you'll probably be able to do almost the whole park in a day if you are organised and are there for opening. I'd recommend Tarzan over the Lion King for shows and if you manage to go the the Studio's at all don't miss animagique. I'd also recommned Annette's for a birthday dinner . I'm sure the rollerskating staff would be happy to sing happy birthday to you.
