We will be doing our first cruise in concierge this September on the Magic. We are in one of the 1 bedroom suites and I know we are able to order dinner in our room. How does that work? Do we have to order it at the same time that our dining rotation would be or do we have more flexibility? And do we have to order what is being served in the dining room we would be going to or are we able to order from any of the menus? And last, if my husband and son would prefer to eat in the room, is it still okay for my daughter and I to join our normal rotation in the dining room? TIA!

Only answering what we experienced last December on Disney magic. We only ordered hot breakfast, and it was using a menu that was provided by the concierge hosts in the concierge lounge. You selected a delivery window time so I'm assuming you can similarly select when you want the food to come during normal dinner hours.

It honestly arrived well past the delivery window (I recall at least an hour late) and into where we had signed up to meet the princesses. I stayed behind to allow room service into our room while my wife took the girls down to meet the princesses. I caught up with them in time to still see the interaction, but by the time that was done and we got back to the room our food was quite cold / mushy from sitting in the steam heat.

My wife and I remarked to each other we couldn't see using the food in the room service again after the experience. We didn't bring it up to anyone in case some wonder. The ship was pretty full and I think a lot of folks were ordering breakfast that particular morning. Guessing dinner would be better as likely less folks are ordering dinner to the room.

Don't see why you couldn't split up the dinner to where your husband and son eat in the room, and you and your daughter eat in the dining room.
