Spent 7 wonderful days (8/16-8/23) at OKW in a GV for the first time. We were pleasantly surprised that all our requests were met - non-smoking, not a handicapped room and close to the Hospitality House. We brought along friends who have never been to Disney before, and so it was a marathon trip. We managed to get in almost everything in spite of the rain. Now I need to talk DH into a short trip for just the two of us so that we can relax! Met some fellow DISer's at an Illuminations dessert party. Also loved Mission Space!!! Don't know if I can wait till next May to go again!

I'm glad you enjoyed your trip!
An OKW GV is one heck of a way to show someone WDW for the first time!

Glad you enjoyed your GV. We are planning a Spring Break trip for extended family and can't wait. In fact, we have so many interested we may have to add more rooms!

Tell me about this party; it may be something we can do if we don't snag a cruise.

Kungaloosh to you, Maistre Gracey!! We took our friends to the Adventurer's Club and they had the best time!!!

Bojo,

Check out the DIS Meets board. One of our fellow DISer's organized this. An Illuminations Dessert Party requires a minimum of 20 people. She did all of the planning and collected our money for the party. We were scheduled for the Lower UK, but unfortunately it rained, so we got moved to upstairs at Norway. It was still great fun. I know that another one is scheduled in November.

After our first GV stay we had to buy 200 more points so that we could get one every year.

There is no better way to stay in WDW than an OKW GV.

Thanks Janis. Maybe there will be something in March (but we really want a cruise).
