Hello all,

This June, we are coming "home" for the first time. 3 days at SSR (where we own) and hen 4 days at BWV. Staying at two places to get a feel for both our home resort and the Boardwalk (stayed at the Inn a few years back).

My question is does anyone know if there is an easy way to transfer from one resort to the other? Does guest services take care of this, or would I have to stay with my luggage for a whole day from checkout at SSR to checkin at BWV?

We are not renting a car this year, but was wondering if I should do so just for that day... ??

Any ideas or past experiences would be great.

Yes, it is quite easy to transfer resorts. We transferred from BCV to OKW in December with tons of luggage. Here's what we did. Once we had all of our luggage together, we called Bell Services at BCV. They came and picked up our luggage and clearly marked it for transfer to OKW and gave us a receipt. We then rode the boat to MGM and got on a bus to go over to OKW to check in. Once we were checked in at OKW, we headed for AKL to spend most of the day. We returned to OKW about 4:45 pm and called bell services to confirm that our luggage had arrived. We then waited at our villa for approximately 10 minutes while they gathered our luggage together and delivered it to our villa. Very, very smooth. Current policy is that you need to be there when they pick up and when they deliver your luggage. We even had refrigerated items and they came through just fine and plenty cold.

It's also good idea to let Bell Service know the day before you are moving and to where.

Yep, we always call bell services the night before we are to move and they let us know exactly what we should do. They are fantastic about moving the luggage and it usually beats us to our new resort.
