Hi, this is my first time on these boards. A girlfriend on another message board clued me into this place. I am so excited about getting married in DW this November. My fiance Paul wanted a island wedding but somehow I managed to talk him into Disney and now he is just as excited as I am.
We are getting married Nov 15th at the Yacht Club with the reception at the Boardwalk. We are planning the whole thing in 4 1/2 months which I can't believe but we are doing it!!

I'm looking forward to learning about all of your stories and plans for your weddings!

We are both "older". (I'm going to be 40 in Dec, he is going to be 39). And we figured why wait. Plus my brother is getting married next May so if we waited we'd have to wait until next fall to do it in DW during seasonable weather.

Welcome! Don't worry - several of us have planned our weddings in 5 months or less - it's actually kinda fun because you don't have to wait around forever for things to start happening or to see the big payoff!

Plus, I hear Disney has pulled off full-blown customized weddings in less than a month.

We took most of our "couple" photos before the ceremony (in Morocco and Japan). The BoardWalk ones we got after the reception. It's a great location for pictures!
