Good evening all,
Well we are finally going to universal, its just my niece and I an we love Harry potter, I have a few questions before i buy the tickets.

1. What day tickets would i buy? we only have 2 days and really just want to focus on harry potter

2. Can we do Harry potter in one day and just buy one day ticket. I heard that if you want to ride the train to Harry otter you have to buy both parks is that still true?

3. should we buy them direct through universal or a discount ticket site

4. my niece lives in Florida and i live in Michigan should we buy the tickets separately

5. and is the rides in the castle really jerky my niece has a bad neck and was wondering if the ride would be jerky

If you want to experience all that is potter, then you must have a park to park ticket, a 2 park ticket. It is the only way you can ride the train to the 2 potter areas. It is a fun ride, and different each way. A must do for a potter fan. Some have been known to be munching on a chocolate frog while on board. Some can do both parks in one day, but there is much to do that is not potter that you could enjoy at both parks. Depending on crowds, spreading visit over 2 days may be better. There are Florida tickets, so have your niece look into their price. Make sure tax and any shipping costs are considered when comparing to undercovertourist or other authorized reseller. UT's price includes tax and free shipping in the US.

The potter ride in the castle is not jerky as much as your seat rotates in many ways. You are well held in, so I never felt my head or necessary jerk around. Check out utube videos of the ride. There are many, and may give your niece a better idea of whether to ride or not. Either way, if it is not a very busy time, ask for the castle tour, there is a lot to see in the castle. Also, make time to eat in the potter restaurants. The theming is fun and so like the movies. Do not miss myrtle moaning in the bathroom near the castle.

I hope you have a great visit whatever you decide.
