Hey guys.
My mom, dad, an I are leaving at like 5 or 6am for Los Angeles, California. We're going to do some of the Hollywood scene, and go to DL for a day. Maybe get a hopper pass. We're not sure of that yet.

I've been do WDW all my life. MY parents went to DL on their honeymoon and that was over 16 years ago.

I'm 16, and finally get the chance to go to my favorite state, and to DL!

Is there anything that is a need to see? And what are the shows like?

The Aladdin musical seems to be pretty popular, though I'm not much of a fan. That might be because I frequent broadway musicals, though. But lots of people on this board seem to like it quite a bit.

If I were you, I'd hit all the stuff you don't get at WDW.

Hi Bethany:

Lots of useful tips are here:

"A DLR Guide for WDW Vets" www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1162599

Things to see for a WDW vet? Well, if you have only one day I would be tempted to just focus on DL.

1. Indiana Jones (absolutely positively)
2. Space Mtn (much better than MK)
3. POTC (much better than MK)
4. Matterhorn
5. Remember Dreams Come True fireworks/laser/special effects show (see it from the hub)

After those, here is the next tier:

6. Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage (crazy 2+ hour lines right now so you can decide)
7. IASW
8. Roger Rabbit
9. Alice in Wonderland
10. Storybook Land Canal Boats
11. HM (different enough from MK to make it interesting)
12. BTMRR (different enough from MK to make it interesting)

If you do decide to go over to DCA, here are the highlights for a WDW vet:

1. California Screamin
2. GRR
3. Aladdin show
4. Animation Studios
5. Monsters Inc
