Hello all. I'm sure there's a thread about this, but I couldn't seem to find it. I'm a long time Disney fan, travelled there with my family almost every year while I was growing up and both my parents and I are DVC members. Heck, I even have a Disney themed room in my home. Last year I proposed to my boyfriend at WDW and was ecstatic when he said yes.

That's a lot of buildup, I know. But I'm at such a loss and need help. Coming from a Disney family, planning a trip to WDW has always been easy. But my fiances parents have never been to Disney before. For Christmas, my fiance and I agreed that we would plan a trip and take his parents with us.

I can't wrap my head around what would make this a truly magical experience. Should I go extravagant and get the MK View 2-Bedroom at Bay Lake Towers or should I plan on us drinking around the world more and stay at Boardwalk or Beach Club Villas? I've even thought about a bungalow at Polynesian Village. I'd be willing to spend the points if it's really worth it.

The parents want to do a couple of private "romantic" dinners, but she likes seafood and he enjoys steaks. Do I set them up at Flying Fish or go with Le Cellier? I want us to have an amazing fireworks experience. But, is it the fireworks specialty boat cruise or taking them up to California Grill for dinner?

What rides do I plan on us riding more? They don't know how to plan a trip like this and I'm the one setting up the fast passes. Do I setup more time in Epcot or Hollywood Studios? Is all the construction at Hollywood Studios making it not worth while to go to?

Simply enough put, I love Disney. I've sold my fiance and he loves Disney now. We want to have our wedding at WDW and are both afraid that we won't be able to make it a truly magical experience for his family. I could really use all of your recommendations. This has got me losing sleep at night trying to figure out just how to plan it.

Thank you!

Congrats on your engagement!

I think you're letting your over abundance of experience trip you up. If they have never been there then most any plan will be enjoyable. Plan more on their personalities than anything else - do they like to sleep in? Are they fine wine and dine people? Will they enjoy rides or experiences?

And don't overwhelm. Disney is great but there is so much to do and to see that it can be tiring. And be sure to give them some alone time.
