Day 2 – 22nd October

When we booked in we asked for 7 o’clock breakfast for each day – much to the surprise of the girl checking us in. She said she loved it when
people wanted early breakfast as the later ones ran out so quickly. We told her that with EMH on each day we wanted to make sure we
were in the Park early. There was no queue at that time – in fact there was hardly anyone else there at first.

The same could be said of the Park – almost deserted when we got in there. We walked straight on to Peter Pan (twice) and then on Dumbo.
I took this photo of the sun coming up behind the Castle.

We went on Buzz – husband beat us both hands down and suddenly decided he liked that ride just fine! :rotfl:
Then another FIRST for us – we went on Orbitron (the queues have always put us off before). After rides on Pinocchio and the Carousel we
looked at Sleeping Beauty’s tapestries and then went over to wait for Frontierland to open. All this done by 9.45! Husband and dtr went on BTM
straight away then we all went on Phantom Manor, followed by them riding BTM again. We wandered into Fantasyland where dtr got the
autographs of TweedleDee and TweedleDum.

We decided to have an early lunch and tried Casey’s for the FIRST time. We all had hot dog and chips and then dtr had Gibson Girl ice-cream.
A lady in there was interested in me getting a discount and started asking me questions about it. I ended up telling her all about the DIS board
and how I got all my ideas from there and as I left she was busy repeating the website address to herself! Who knows, she
could be reading this now. :goodvibes

Three FIRSTS in a row next – firstly the Character Express.

Next - Casey Jr and Les Pays de Contes de Fee are always closed when we go in February so we had never been on them. I liked Casey
– and that is about as fast as I will ever want to go. There was hardly any queuing here so we went on LPDCDF twice. Dtr went
round Alice’s Labyrinth and then we went back to the hotel for husband and dtr to have a swim whilst I …ahem…looked at the inside
of my eyelids for half an hour.:rolleyes1

By 5 o’clock we were back in the Park ready for our meal in Walt’s – another FIRST. Oh boy, did we love everything about this place!
Atmosphere, décor, food – all brilliant. I will write a separate review of this, but it got a definite thumbs up. Dtr let everyone know
that we don’t normally dine in such surroundings by declaring loudly “oh wow! The napkins are made of material, not paper!” :lmao:
Then husband spilled about 3 things on the table cloth, which he was trying to cover up…….very badly!

After this dtr and husband went on Space Mountain twice in a row, while I did some shopping and went on Snow White.
Meeting up again we all went on POTC, IASW and finally Buzz – husband by now was loving this ride ….and winning every time!
After a little play on some Halloween stuff

we left the Park and dtr and I did some shopping while husband waited for us in the Sports Bar, but by 10 we were in our hotel room.
Next 2 unfortunate things happened……husband discovered that eating a whole load of seafood, going on SM twice and then
having 2 pints of lager does unfortunate things to your stomach. He was okay until he got hiccups, but then….oh dear he
was rather sick.
I had drifted off to sleep and was woken by my legs shaking. It was the weirdest thing I have ever felt – both legs were
shuddering and shaking as if I was freezing cold (I wasn’t) but it was only my legs affected. If I moved them they calmed, but then
within 10 seconds they started again. This went on for about an hour and stopped me sleeping. Then, as quick as it started –
it stopped. I can only think that it was some sort of reaction to the amount of walking I had been doing over 2 days, when
normally I don’t walk anywhere. I’ll have to get some practise in before my next trip.

I've been looking forward to your next instalment and wasn't disappointed. Great photos, it looks so bright and sunny.

A lady in there was interested in me getting a discount and started asking me questions about it.

Discount at the kiosks?

and then we went back to the hotel for husband and dtr to have a swim whilst I …ahem…looked at the inside of my eyelids for half an hour.

:rotfl2: Definitely gonna use this one!

Thanks for laughs - sorry about your legs - I have a tablecloth attacking partner too, so well used to the strategic placing of napkins, salt cellars etc.

Lovely Day 2 report and photos, I was really interested to read your EMH experience, I'm anticipating the parks being busy and hoping EMH will be the answer for us in getting everything done, hopefully we'll be as fortunate as you were with times. :goodvibes

Thanks for another lovely report. Sorry to hear about your husband being sick, I hope he was better by morning. When we were there I had a weird ache in my left leg each night but by morning I was always fine. I think too that your legs shaking must have been all the walking. I never walk as much as I do on a Disney day!
The early breakfast time I found was the best, but we only got that the first day. It was so quiet and peaceful but after that it was always a total madhouse :scared1:.

Great report, I'm already looking forward to more... I hope that our EMH will be just as quiet...

Loving your reports :goodvibes and if you can ride Casey Junior you can definitely do Big Thunder!! ::yes::

Lovely report & great pics:thumbsup2

Sorry to hear you husband wasn't well.
