first time flying and using DME

if our flight leaves at 4:27pm. wht time do we have to catch DME. i have a late breakfast ADR at 10:30 at Chef mickeys and i just want to know if we can take our time. were staying at POP and i know it may take a min to get frm resort to resort

Generally your assigned DME pick up time is 3 hours before your flight, and they recommend you arrive to the pick up area 10 minutes before. So I would plan on being at the DME pick up area around 1:15 or so. They will leave you an envelope outside your hotel room the day before you checkout with the assigned time though.

The ADR is doable but you cannot take your time.

Your DME bus will probably leave Pop Century around 1:30.

You should aim to be back there an hour before that, i.e. 12:30.

Could well take an hour to get from Contemporary to Pop. Now we are back to 11:30 out the front door of the Contemp.

You would gain some time by taking a taxi back to Pop instead of monorail/bus.

4:27pm flight departure will put you on a 1:30ish DME bus. Be at the bus stop, ready to go, at least 15 mins before the appointed time. That time is the time the bus leaves the resort, NOT the time you should arrive. Can't tell you how many times I've seen families running up to the bus just as it is closing the doors!!!
For a 10:30 ADR at CM's, try to get there a bit early. You may be able to get in a bit early. Then, you need to allow enough time to return to POP. It is always wise to allow an hour to get from resort to resort if using Disney transportation. If you get close to noontime, and are still at the restaurant, I would just take a cab back to POP. Much less stressful.
