Hi Everyone, New to the board, I have enjoyed reading all the post and thought it was time to join in. I am flying to wdw in Jan , soooo excited, but nervous about the fight, first one ever. I have made ressies for Tiffany Towncar for transportation, They have set me up for a 8:45 am pick-up my flight leaves at 10:59am, Is that enought time to Check in and Check Bags? Also I am going to check in for my flight to orlando from my home computer is there anyway to check in from our resort (WL i hope, waiting on those AP rates)? Flying American 325.00 round trip for me and my DH.

It takes 25-30 to reach the airport. Depending on what day of the week you are flying that should be enough time.

Sometimes hotels have business centers where you can rent a computer to do online check-in. You might want to ask Guest Services at the hotel for any suggestions.

If it were me in the present day security-filled airport trek, I would allow myself two hours before my flight to arrive at the airport.

I am flying out with my family next Monday, and we have a 6:50 flight out. I'm having the limo pick us up at 4:00 because it's about a 45 minute ride to the airport.

We left The Royal Pacific this morning at 8:50 for a 11:35 flight. We were at the airport, got our boarding passes, and passed through the check point by 9:30. It didn't take long at all.

Thanks for the advice. Maybe I should have our pick-up time moved Just alittle earlier . That would give us a little more time in case things don't go smoothly. Being my first flight ever, I am very nervous anyway. Thanks again

If you are flying on the weekend I would allow extra time. During the week you should have plenty of time.

I am flying out on a Saturday Morning, (at 10:59). I think I will have my pickup moved to around 8:15. That should give us enough time. If We end up with extra time, I heard there were shops at the orlando airpot. I notice my flight to orlando does not have many passangers but the flight home is filling up. Thanks alot for the input. Now if I can only make myself get on the plane, I'll have to keep those magical thoughts for motivation.

The delay most likely will be at the security check point. Keep an eye on that while you are wandering around at the shops. If the line looks long I would pass up shopping to get past the security checkpoint.

Nickiekay, I'm also a nervous :scared: flier. I've flown many times, and never had any problems with check in or the flight itself. If you think it might help, you could take some Dramamine, or non drowsy motion sickness meds (I like WalGreen store brand), or ask your Dr. for for a Rx of Composine. It's a very mild sedative, that won't make you dopey.

Hope you have a great trip.

Good suggestion, I dont normally have to much trouble with car sickness but I am so nervous about the fight I might need something. We have always driven to WDW (from Arkansas) but my DH said no more , you want to go,we fly. So I guess I'll have to get over it. Have a great Thanksgiving holdiay .
