First time DVC owner now trying to figure out planning

OK, so my wife and I are buying at BLT. We already had a vacation planned in December to stay at the YC but our guide was able to get us in at BLT MK view for the same dates for our first stay "home".

Now I'm trying to figure out what I need to buy ahead of time. We usually did a vacation package with MYW park hopper plus tickets and dining. Now I think we are going to buy APs and maybe still do the dining plan. Do I need to "buy" either of these in advance or can I get both when we check in? Also, with dining, does the 90 + 10 rule for ADRs still apply to DVC members?

If you want dining plan call MS no later than 48 hours before your check-in date; then you'd pay for it when you check-in either by cash or cc.

AP's you can order by phone via MS if you'd like & you'll receive voucher by mail which is presented onsite along with your ID & then AP is issued .

You can continue buying MYW with or without hopper, but if you plan to go Disney 2 or more times in a year, AP will be the best option.

About DDP, as the other poster said, you must call and order it before you arrive (no later than 48 hours) but you will pay when you chech in
