Hello! First time poster and first time to DLP!!

This is our first time with our son who will be 14th months old so Disney with a child is a new experience for us :yay:

I'm not so sure how our son will handle all the stimulation or what rides he'll be able to ride. Can anyone tell me how parent swapping the child to ride on rides works? Is it easy to do?

We are staying at the Explorers Hotel for 5 nights in April and really looking forward to some Disney fun. Any tips, especially with such a young child? We don't have tickets yet but figure we can buy them at the hotel? We booked directly through the Explorer's website so Disney tickets are not included.

Thank you!!!!
:dance3:

hi and welcome.

We used Baby Swap last year and it worked well.

you tell the CM that you wish to do the baby swap and then one adult will join the main queue and is given a pass, the parent staying with the child will wait at the ride exit for the other person to come of the ride. The person who first went on the ride then gives the pass to the person waiting with the child. show this to the CM, who will then take you to the ride though the exit.

I'm travelling in April with a three - will be four while we are there - reason for the trip - year old and a 14 month old too.
Are there some rides that he could go on? Peter Pan for example as my three year old adores his bro and would be gutted if he couldnt come on as well.

peter pan will be fine for them both to go on.

Hi Kate and welcome to DLP DIS board :wave2:
We are a friendly bunch here so please join in on any other thread or if you have a number of questions then just start a new thread for each :goodvibes

If you have not had a look yet, posting guidelines can be found here and details regarding help on signatures here

DD was 14/15 mths when we first visited. She had a ball and was on most rides.
Given you are going for 5 days an annual pass might be worthwhile. Here is a recent thread.
