Countless times to WDW and first time to DL- HAD A BLAST in DL, CA was not for us, just a waste of time as we didn't care for it. We only spent half a day of our 5 days there. WOC greatest show we have ever seen hands down
(that includes over fantasmic also) Will try to elaborate more if I can with Trip Report hopefull sometime this week.

My question is why no Fastpass at Peter Pan? This was a slow week and I can tell you that PP always had long lines. There has to be a way to get FP in there.
Spoke to someone who lseemed to be management and asked about PP and never really recieved a solid answer, other than to hear him say that Disney may be looking to phase out Fast Passes. :confused3 No Joke.

1. There's really not very much space. MK's PPF's queue was much easier to transform once FP was introduced. So there's no real space for another FP return line or even a FP distribution area.

2. DL's PPF has a slightly lower capacity because it doesn't have the constantly moving conveyor belt. Adding FP to DL's would create really long stand-by lines. Moreso than even now.

3. The executives at DL are much less of a fan of FP in general than the guys in high places over in Florida. For example, MK has like 8 FP attractions. DL has 7 but DL park has a lot more attractions than MK park. Shoot, they chose to not have FP at TSMM over at DCA. DLR used to have a lot more FP rides but back in like 2004/2005 many were taken off the system (Pooh, It's Tough to be a Bug, HM, Pirates, Muppets, etc.)

HM still does have a FP, but only on the holiday.

At WDW we felt like we were running into FP at every other attraction. DLR has far fewer. Fact is, as stated above, FP would greatly extend the standby wait of PP. In fact, unless they gave out a severely limited number, and I mean SEVERELY, PP FP wouldn't be very fast at all.

That's why we say: Peter Pan first... always first.™

There's also the Fantasyland Power Hour™ -- visiting Fantasyland in the last hour before DL closes. The lines in Fantasyland are usually fairly short at that time of night, although it's probably too late in the night if you're visiting with young children.

Ok let me get this straight.
Didn't care for CA but loved WOC?
May I ask what you thought of Aladdin stage show, Grizzly River Run, Soarin over California, Screamin', Silly Symphony Swings, Monsters Inc, and Little Mermaid? I agree it has some real dogs (Goofy's Sky School, Jumpin Jellyfish, Bug's Land). I am excited about the changes though in fact enough so that I am going to brave the first month crowd!
