hello Disney fans. My family of 3 will be going on our first Disney cruise in December(NYE). We will be on the Disney wonder. My husband booked the inside cabin for us and I was wondering if anyone has any tips for me and how to make it as comfortable as possible for my family.

I have a toddler so I would like to bring an umbrella stroller with me and possibly his car seat for the plane ride. Will I have enough room with all the added extra stuff. TIA.

The bed is raised so you will be able to slip your luggage and stroller under the bed. The car seat will probably fit in the closet or you can store it in the shower when it is not being used.

Yes his car seat will fit perfectly in the closet and his stroller will be able to go under the bed along with all suitcases i would try to use the least amount of luggage as possible. My family of three stayed in an inside cabin on the Dream and it was a bit tight for us only because I don't do laundry on vacation therefore I over pack and i packed all of of our own suitcase. If you are fine with doing laundry then I would suggest you pack light. As a family we also spent a good amount of time in our room since my son still needed to take naps at the time, so we also used room service a lot; they bring in pretty large trays which takes up desk space so i recommend taking turns grabbing food from one of the quick service locations or placing the tray just outside your stateroom door, I didn't like doing that only because the hallway we were on was already cramped and it was hard to get the stroller in and out the room with trays outside the door. I would suggest a lot of "hanging" storage/organizers. You cant hang things over the doors+ but most rooms have hooks and you can always hang things by using magnets(the ceiling on the Dream was magnetic). I brought along suction hooks for the bathroom to hang many things as well a hanging travel organizer that can be hung on the rods in one of the bathrooms. There isn't much desk space so make good use of all cabinets. Ask for a bed rail for your DS if he will be sleeping on the fold down bed. Pinterest has a lot of good ideas for utilizing the space in an inside stateroom as well. Hope this helps.. :D

  • Use the velcro lock on that closet... my first night was like sleeping in a bowling alley.
  • Use the buffet in the Parrot Cay for embarkation
  • check the navigator daily to plan about character meets, start your collection/stalking at the terminal for the bonus pics
  • don't be late for the character breakfast, don't forget to get your tickets for the character breakfast
  • do go up for the sail away party
  • do take the "Art of the Theme" ship tour
  • do consider the 1gb/$89 internet package. At 24Mbps, it was plenty fast and useable for me last year
  • do load up with bevvies in your wheeled carry-on
  • do check the latest bevvy policy on liquor
  • magnets work on the ceiling, I brought a magnet flashlight thats allow me to spotlight parts of the room.

Thank you so much for your responses. ill check out some of your suggestions. Especially the magnets and suctions.

The room will be as dark as the inside of an underground cave. We put a nightlight in the bathroom which provided just enough light to see when someone got up but couldn't turn the bedside lamps. We also kept a small flashlight on the bedside table in case we completely lost power. I also used it when I got up in the morning as I wake up at 6am even without an alarm clock and changing time zones. I would use the flashlight to get dressed and leave the cabin while DW continued to sleep for a few more hours.

Set the TV for "view from the bridge".
This will let your body know when it light outside. In an inside room it's easy to sleep the day away.

Our family always does the Inside cabins abd we use the bridge camera channel since there are no windows or portholes in the stterooms it is a great feature!
