I have an option to book a 3 day Disney cruise in December. We haven't been on a cruise ship before so this is all very new to us. Our travel agent has a tentative hold on a level 6 cabin with verandah. The cabin is number 6108. We are a family of four including two pre-teen children, my wife and me. Just wondering if any veteran Disney cruisers can give me some info about this level of cabin and this cabin number, specifically. Would we be comfortable in this type of cabin? The ship is the Disney Wonder if this helps. Thanks for any and all help!!

Deck 6 with verandah is excellent...It is towards the rear of the ship. Port side..we love port side.

Everyone has their own personal place on the ship..they like best. We try and get the same cabin every time..or one within the same range. We like forward to middle area.

The bed would be queen for you/wife..and then the kids would sleep on the sofa turned into a bed...and the pull down bed from the wall.

Storage...closet and trunk with shelves. The split bathroom, so plenty of shelves there.

You can request a brochure and dvd from the disney cruise web site..or your TA..should have offered to send you the disney cruise brochure at least.

Hi! Deck 6 is right over the Kid's Club and Lab. I have not personally stayed in a cat 6-yet. My turn is in 2/05!

We have always stayed in Cat. 6 on 6th or 7th floor. We have 2 teens, plenty of room, verandah is an added touch, fresh air a little extra room. 2 bathrooms one with shower/tub and sink the other with toilet and sink. big closet, suitcases can be stored under bed. lots of drawer space. Desk has a huge mirror, built in blow dryer in bathroom with toilet. We had plenty of room and we were on both ships and they are identical as far as rooms go.

WE stayed in 6088 just down the hall. The room was great and plenty of space and storage. You will love it. Very convenient to everything and the verandah is perfect. Go for it.

Have always had a category 6 and always on the port side!

We just love it. It's usually just hubby and me, but there is plenty of room and you can separate the rooms with the curtain, and the split bath is a real plus!!

I can use the sink while hubby is in the shower!

It's a fabulous room and no worries about kids club, because you never hear it. At least we didn't!

We stayed in 6108 on the Magic last December. It's aft. Perfect location to the rear elevators. Three floors up and you are at the buffett. Almost never a wait for the elevator.........plus the ship backs in to CC and you get to see the whole island from your verandah!!!!!!!!!!
