First time cruisers have last minute questions..

We are leaving town on Tuesday 12/16 and will be cruising on The Wonder on 12/18. I have a few last minute question.

1. Do your carry-ons count in your 2 bags per person limit and do you have to tag them with the luggage tags included in your documents?

2. Can you purchase liquor at a cheaper price in Nassau? Also where is the best place to buy jewelry and or liquor?

3. What is the dollar amount limit on purchases per person?

4. I know you can bring wine and beer on board but what about liquor?

Your carry ons do not count in your luggage limit, and do not need the Disney tags. They should, however, be tagged with your name and address....and I usually put the stateroom number on them. The Disney tags and the 2 bags per person apply to checked baggage. A hint...don't carry more than you really need...film, medications, swimsuits, documents...

You can bring liquor aboard too! Just pack it securely, or carry it on. Enjoy!

I think you can purchase as much stuff as you want. Just past the specified amount, you'll need to pay fees.

the "duty free" limit is $800 per person ($3,200 for a family of four). Anthing over that limit and you have to pay duty.

As to shopping, the main drag in Nassau has numerous shops and even though the locals can get pushy sometimes I haven't had a bad experience. Just remember the main thing that many items especially jewelery is negotiable. A little haggleing could save you quite a bit.
